At Wearne Cottesloe, we provide care using a Person-centred approach. This approach involves the whole team and ensures our care is focussed on the resident, treating them as an individual, looking at their quality of life from their perspective and ensuring there is a social environment where they can experience wellbeing.
Person-centred care includes the importance of the family and friends being involved as a care partner. Our staff understand how important it is to talk to the person and include the family and friends when they plan care now and in the future.
Our staff work in partnership with families to understand and know our residents well, and we enable residents to live purposeful lives. Over time we individualise care and focus on wellbeing and purpose for each resident. It takes time to build the mutual trust and respect required to achieve this.
You will find our staff warm and welcoming, and feedback on our services are always encouraged.
