Contributing to the redevelopment of Wearne Cottesloe

Redevelopment Workshop #2: Design Scenarios

The aim of running the second workshop in the series of community consultations is to show our locals that Curtin Care is listening.

The ‘Design Scenarios’ workshop, run by leading planning consultants Taylor Burrell Barnett, will discuss design ideas for the future development of Wearne Cottesloe. It will provide an important opportunity for community feedback for the future of local aged care, retirement living and other related services.

The Design Scenarios Workshop takes place on:

  • Date: 1 May 2017
  • Time: 5.30pm – 8.00pm
  • Location: Wearne Community Centre, Wearne Cottesloe, Gibney Street, Cottesloe
  • RSVP: Wearne@curtincare.com.au

Anyone interested in attending the workshop are asked to RSVP in advance to assist with seating and catering arrangements.

Redevelopment Workshop #1: Visioning

Curtin Care announced in December 2016 that it was ready to commence the long-term redevelopment of this unique site on the corner of Marine Parade and Gibney Street.

The first step in the process is a ‘Visioning Workshop’ to obtain the views of neighbours and other interested Cottesloe residents. It will provide important community feedback for the future of local aged care, retirement living and other related services.

The Visioning Workshop will be run by leading planning consultants Taylor Burrell Barnett, and will be the first step in a process of working closely with the community to create, refine and finalise plans for Wearne Cottesloe.

The Visioning Workshop took place on:

  • Date: 13 March 2017
  • Time: 5.30pm – 8.00pm
  • Location: Wearne Community Centre, Wearne Cottesloe, Gibney Street, Cottesloe
  • RSVP: Wearne@curtincare.com.au
