Curtin Aged Persons Homes Inc., trading as Curtin Care, was founded in 1979 by councillors of the Town of Cottesloe, to ensure there would always be quality aged care for residents in Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Claremont and Peppermint Grove.
Curtin Care recognises that the aged population is expanding rapidly and people want to be cared for in the area that they live in. Our organisation is a viable and self-sustaining not-for-profit incorporated association, committed to providing a much needed range of age care services to local residents of all socio-economic backgrounds.
Although Curtin Care is the Aged Care approved provider and holds all agreements with the residents, we have partnered with Bethanie to provide the day to day management of Wearne Cottesloe, RiverSea Mosman Park and RiverSea Village - fourteen Independent Living Units in Mosman Park. We currently provide residential care to close to 150 residents with low, high and dementia specific care needs. You can learn more about Wearne Cottesloe, RiverSea Mosman Park and the RiverSea Village Independent Living Units.
Curtin Care is a not-for profit, registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and has Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) status, which means its main purpose is the providing of aged care related services to its local community on a not for profit, benevolent basis.
Curtin Care is managed by a professional board that oversees all aspects of care provision and has a membership of local residents who are keenly interested in providing quality aged care services to residents in the local area.
